Triage staff classify patients based on the severity of their condition, dividing them into four triage levels. The triage level for each patient is not fixed. Triage nurses must continuously monitor changes in the condition, promptly identify key indicators that may affect clinical outcomes, proactively adjust the classification if necessary, and immediately notify the attending emergency physician to ensure timely and appropriate treatment.
1. Level I refers to patients in critical condition who require immediate treatment.
2. Level II refers to critically ill patients, who must be quickly rescued, supported, and treated with medical care.
3. Level III is for emergency patients, arranged for consultation. Nurses are responsible for completing the patient's condition information and conducting preliminary rapid tests.
4. Level IV patients are sub-emergent/non-emergent, with visits arranged in the order of visit.
