The fee policy, fee categories and documents regarding fees for common medical services are available here to help patients quickly familiarize with the relevant procedures before their visit.

Fee Policy

Free medical care

It is available for Macao residents currently entitled to free public specialty services. They can continue to receive the same free medical services following a referral by the Health Bureau to the Macao Union Hospital.

Fee-based medical care

It is available for Macao residents, long-term stayers holding Non-Resident Worker’s Identification Cards, student visas or Special Stay Permits, and individuals granted special authorization from the Macao Government. Macao residents can enjoy a 30% discount on Category A items.

International medical care

It is private healthcare services that provide higher-end choices. Macao residents can enjoy an appropriate discount on Category A items.

Free emergency services

They are available for individuals currently entitled to free medical services under the law.

Fee-based emergency services

They are available for Macao residents, long-term stayers holding Non-Resident Worker’s Identification Cards, student visas or Special Stay Permits, as well as individuals granted special authorization from the Macao Government and other non-Macao residents. Macao residents can enjoy a 30% discount on Category A items.
