Lyu Wei, Doctor of Medicine, Master’s Supervisor. She obtained her doctoral degree from Peking Union Medical College in 1998. Subsequently, she has been dedicated to her role in the Department of Internal Medicine at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. In 2002, she transitioned to the Department of Infectious Diseases, where she continues to work to the present day. She was appointed as an associate chief physician in 2010, and served as a consultant physician in the Department of Infectious Diseases at Conde de São Januário General Hospital in Macao from 2011 to 2012. In 2018, she was appointed as chief physician. Between 2004 and 2006, she undertook two years of postdoctoral studies at Paris VI University in France. Additionally, in 2014, she spent four months as a visiting scholar at McGill University in Canada. In terms of scientific research, she assumed the role of project leaders for the National Major Infectious Disease Projects during the 12th and 13th Five-Year Plans, focusing on the Study of Appropriate Treatment for AIDS - Incomplete Immune Reconstitution. She also led the Innovative Team of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences for the Project on the Intervention and Treatment of Intestinal Microbiota in AIDS. She has published more than 40 papers.
